Samtal um skapandi greinar: Hvað þarf að ræða?
Fimmtudaginn 5. mars býður RSSG til annars konar fundar innan fundaraðarinnar Samtal um skapandi greinar. Að þessu sinni verða engin formleg erindi eða pallborð. Í staðinn einblínum við alfarið á opið samtal og að skapa rými þar sem þátttakendur geta rætt bæði sín á milli og við okkur. Fundurinn fer fram í CCP í Grósku, 3. hæð, að Bjargargötu 1, 102 Reykjavík, kl. 8.30-10.15.
Tengslanetið í kringum Rannsóknasetur skapandi greina hefur farið ört vaxandi og við viljum nýta tækifærið til að bjóða fólki úr ólíkum áttum skapandi greina að hittast, miðla reynslu og ræða málin saman. Við hvetjum iðkendur, stjórnendur, fræðafólk, stefnumótendur og alla sem hafa áhuga á skapandi greinum til að taka þátt samtalinu. Þátttakendur raða sér við borð þar sem hópstjóri heldur utan um umræður og tekur saman helstu punkta. Við hvetjum fólk til að mæta snemma og næla sér í kaffi og morgunmat í boði CCP. Teams-fundur verður einnig í boði fyrir þau sem ekki komast á staðinn, fjöldi þeirra fer eftir skráningu. Þá fer samtalið fram á ensku á 1-2 borðum (eftir skráningu).
Saman munum við velta fyrir okkur spurningum um framtíð menningar og skapandi greina: Hvað viljum við styrkja? Hverju þurfum við að breyta? Og hvernig viljum við að íslenskt skapandi landslag þróist á næstu árum?
Markmið fundarins eru að:
öðlast dýpri innsýn í stöðu og mögulega framtíð skapandi greina á Íslandi
greina spurningar sem vert er að rannsaka, ræða og þróa frekar
skapa opið samtalsrými fyrir fjölbreyttan hóp þátttakenda.
Þátttakendur geta lagt fram tillögur að umræðuefnum við skráningu. Tillögur að spurningum verða tiltækar við borðin ef þörf krefur en megináherslan er á opið og þátttakendamiðað samtal. Í lok fundar munu hópstjórar fara stuttlega yfir umræður síns borðs og síðan verður opnað fyrir samtal milli borða. Að fundi loknum mun RSSG vinna samanburð út frá borðapunktum og deila samantekt með þátttakendum.

Dialogue on Creative Industries:
What do we need to talk about?
On Thursday, 5 March, the Creative Industries Research Centre (RSSG) invites you to a different kind of session within the Dialogue on Creative Industries series. This time, there will be no formal presentations or panel discussions. Instead, we focus entirely on open dialogue and creating space for participants to talk with one another. The meeting will take place at the CCP offices in Gróska, 3rd floor, at Bjargargata 1, 102 Reykjavík.
As the network around RSSG has been steadily growing, we want to offer a moment for people across the creative field to connect, exchange experiences, and reflect together. We invite practitioners, researchers, policymakers, institutional leaders, and anyone with an interest in the creative field to join us for a morning of guided but flexible conversation. Participants will gather at tables, each with a facilitator who supports the discussion and gathers key points. We encourage you to arrive early, grab a coffee and breakfast provided by CCP, and ease into the conversation. The conversation at at least one of the tables will take place in English and for those who cannot attend in person, we will provide a Teams meeting.
Together we will explore broad yet pressing questions about the future of Iceland’s creative ecosystem: What should we strengthen? What needs to change? And how do we want Iceland’s creative landscape to develop in the years ahead?
Our goals for the session are:
to gain deeper insight into the current state and future direction of the creative sector in Iceland
to identify questions that merit further research, dilalogue and development
to create an open, equitable space for shared dialogue across a diverse group of participants
People may propose topics when registering, and guiding questions will be available at each table if needed, but the emphasis is on natural, participant‑led conversation. Toward the end of the session, facilitators will briefly summarize the discussions from their tables, followed by time for open reflections from everyone. After the meeting, RSSG will compile and share a short synthesis based on the table notes.
